Jordan Hogan
Jordan Hasay is an American distance runner. She grew up in Arroyo Grande, California, and attended Mission College Preparatory High School in San Luis Obispo. She was unanimously selected 2008 Girls High School Athlete of the Year by the voting panel at Track and Field News. Highlights of her high school career included 2 time Footlocker national cross country champion, 8- time CA state champion, and high school national records in the 1500m, and 3200m runs, the former in which she set while qualifying for the finals of the 2008 Olympic Trials.
She attended the University of Oregon, where she studied business administration and competed on the cross country and track and field teams earning 18 All-American honors, 2011 Mile and 3,000 meters NCAA titles.
Upon graduation in 2013, Hasay signed with NIKE, her current sponsor and went onto compete in the 2013 World track and field championships in the 10k. Hasay has found the most success in the half marathon and marathon distances. She was previously coached by the 3 time London marathon and New York marathon champion and former world record holder in the marathon, Paula Radcliffe. Hasay is currently being coached by Pete Julian the Head Coach and founder of the Union Athletics Club.
Hasay made her debut in the marathon in the 2017 Boston marathon, finishing 3rd place and marking the fastest marathon debut by an American female in a time of 2:23:00. Hasay then went into run the second fastest American marathon time ever and fastest time ever recorded on US soil at the 2017 Chicago marathon where she also finished 3rd in 2:20:57. Following a year in which she was sidelined by injury, Hasay impressively returned to competition with a 3rd place in the 2019 Boston marathon.
Jordan got married in June 2023. She currently lives and trains in Mechanicsburg, PA where her husband Ryan grew up. They are enjoying married life along with their 1 year old labradoodle Toby.
