Andrea Pomaranski
Andrea Pomaranski is a 40-year-old elite runner from Wolverine Lake, MI. Andrea was a 3 time All-American runner at Miami (OH) who was racing at an elite level in 2010 until diagnosed with a back
injury that her doctor said would end her running career. Andrea’s running career was put on hold for almost a decade, she had three children. She returned to competitive racing in 2019 with a 2:51 performance at the Chicago Marathon, her progression since her return has been most impressive. In January 2020 she ran 2:44 at Houston to qualify for the 2020 USA Olympic Trials (she ran 2:46 only 4 weeks later in ATL). In 2021 her PB improved to 2:37 at Grandma’s in Duluth, MN. In 2022 she lowered her PB to 2:33:38 at Houston, and then 2:33:10 at the Berlin Marathon where she was the 2nd American behind Keira D’Amato.
Andrea Pomaranski- USATF American Master’s record holder and 2023 50K champion. She also hold the American Master’s Record in the mile as well. In 2022 she took the USATF Road Racing circuit by storm with an overall 4th place finish on the circuit. Pomaranski was 2nd in the half marathon, 5th place in the 25k, and 10th in the 6k. At 40 years old, this was her first time racing the championship circuit.
Pomaranski ran a marathon PR this year in Houston, running 2:31:06 (7th overall) in tough conditions. This time qualifies her for the 2024 Olympic Trials marathon.
