Colleen Quigley, in 2023, transitioned into the triathlon (swim, bike, run).

She established herself as a world class steeplechase and Mile athlete. On July 31, 2020 at the Portland Intrasquad Meet IV, she led off her BTC team (also Elise Cranny, Karissa Schweizer & Shelby Houlihan) to 4 x 1500m relay world record clocking of 16:27.02, a 4:06.75 average per runner.

In 2019, the Missouri native finished runner-up in the Wanamaker Mile, clocking 4:22.86, #9 indoor all-time woman, #4 U.S. all-time & her track PR, and in late February, Colleen captured her first national crown to upset two-time defending champion Shelby Houlihan for the USA Indoor Mile title, 4:29.47 to 4:29.92.

In February 2018, she won the famed indoor Wanamaker Mile, edging Kate Grace, 4:30.05 to 4:30.08. After some injury downtime, the 2016 Rio Olympian returned to racing action in the summer and recorded a 3000m steeplechase PR of 9:10.27 (#3 U.S. all-time). She closed her season with a runner-up finish at the 5th Avenue Mile, clocking a personal best of 4:19.2.

While attending Florida State, Quigley, a 9-time NCAA All-American, won the 2015 NCAA 3000m steeplechase title.
