Maggie Montoya
I’m Maggie Montoya. I grew up all over but called NW Arkansas home for most of it. I ran distance at Baylor University and graduated in 2017. I joined Roots Running Project in March of 2018 and moved out in June of that year. I worked 5 years in various retail and hospital pharmacies and eventually was able to step down and focus even more on running and my Masters degree when I signed with Salomon in July of 2022. I spent a great deal of time on the track or shorter road races but graduated to the Marathon in 2022 at the Houston Marathon. I’ve fallen in love with the distance and am looking forward to competing in the 2024 US Olympic Trials! Also I have a 5 year old Goldendoodle named Harper who has been my constant companion since graduating undergrad!
