Dede is a former NCAA Champion swimmer from Stanford University and a Gold Medalist in the Pan American and Pan Pacific Games as part of the US National Team. After getting her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Dede worked on Wall Street for 8 years before returning to a career in sport as a professional triathlete.
Dede is a 3-time Ironman Champion, holds the course record at the 12 hour time trial World Championships and is the Ultraman World Record Holder. Dede is a triathlon coach with JD Endurance and is also part of the live commentary team for Ironman, providing color commentary and race analysis for Ironman races across the globe. And when she’s not busy doing all of those things…..she spends time with her husband, Dave and Labrador retrievers, Piper and Charley in and around their home in Boulder, CO.
